With its magical atmospheres since ancient times Sirmione<\/strong> has attracted artists and poets who have sung the passions of love in their works.<\/span><\/span> For everyone it is enough to remember the famous lines of the great poet Catullus: “give me a thousand kisses, then a hundred, then a thousand again”<\/em>.<\/span><\/span> Not only a praise to love, but also a symbolic invitation that has been transmitted and remained alive over time.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Hence the idea of dedicating the 16th edition of the Collective Exhibition of Sirmione Artists to love and kiss<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n A broad and, above all, never predictable theme that we entrust to the sensitivity and talent of the artists to celebrate love in all its manifestations through every technique and artistic language, perhaps allowing ourselves to be inspired by the artistic sensitivity of Lillo Marciano<\/strong> and his “Kiss Please”,<\/span><\/span> which welcomes lovers at the entrance to the Muse beach, in the heart of our historic centre.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n An invitation to “our Sirmione artists” to get to work immediately to make us fall in love with their works.<\/span><\/span> The usual operational details will follow shortly.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n If you are an artist, sculptor, painter, photographer or poet, resident in Sirmione, and you want to participate as a protagonist in the Collective Exhibition of Sirmione Artists<\/strong>, you can contact the Municipality’s Culture Office on 030.9909184<\/strong> or write an e-mail to c.gaiera<\/span><\/span> @sirmionebs.it<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The exhibition will be inaugurated at Palazzo Callas Exhibitions on Thursday 7 December 2023 at 6:00 pm<\/strong> and will remain open to the public until 10 March 2024<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n With its magical atmospheres since ancient times Sirmione has attracted artists and poets who have sung the passions of love in their works.
