Exhibition<\/strong> stages a refined interweaving of symbols and objects, clues and surprising revelations that ideally bring <strong>Maria Callas<\/strong> back to her beloved Sirmione.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"lRu31\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In the videos and photographs of the famous photographer, days and nights alternate in a game of appearance and absence, of representing and suggestive evocation and restore the presence of the <strong><em>Divina<\/em><\/strong> regenerated by the mythical light of the heroines she played on the stage, and with whom she shared in<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">part the tragic fate.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"lRu31\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In the interview, the president of <strong>Magnum Photos<\/strong> tells how a video-photographic project of this type was born, how x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p><em>Legato and Staccato is the interpretation of five of the most famous operas that Maria Callas performed in, all with the same sort of narrative of the tragic heroine that has a difficult choice to make, and we chose this operas because they somehow dialogue very well with the possibilities that Sirmione could offer as the perfect stage for these operas and I remember it became very clear that Sirmione could be the perfect place to work and to transform Sirmione in the stage of an opera very easily so it was all <\/em><em>this process of first studying the operas bringing and identifying the skeleton of the story and then adapting it to the different corners of Sirmione to bring it back to life with the intention of highlighting just the narrative just the story that is behind the opera and let the objects and the backgrounds speak for it because I wanted to remove the the strength and the power that the presence of Maria Callas has.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><em>My Approach in all the projects I have done about Maria Callas is really to remove her, because everybody knows what her life was like everybody knows what she looks likes and it&#8217;s such a powerful image and presence that it distracts from other aspects of her life like her talent and her interpretation skills in a way, so the only way to focus on other things that are equally important is to not show her. So I started playing with the objects that can tell stories that can carry a certain emotional load to tell the story without her on stage.<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<\/div>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><em><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Legato and Staccato \u00e8 l&#8217;interpretazione di cinque delle opere pi\u00f9 famose che Maria Callas ha interpretato, tutte con lo stesso tipo di narrazione dell&#8217;eroina tragica che ha una scelta difficile da fare e abbiamo scelto queste opere perch\u00e9 in qualche modo dialogano molto bene con le possibilit\u00e0 che Sirmione poteva<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">offrire come il palcoscenico perfetto per queste opere e ricordo che divenne molto chiaro che Sirmione poteva essere il posto perfetto per lavorare e per trasformare Sirmione nel palcoscenico di un&#8217;opera molto facilmente, quindi si \u00e8 trattato di <\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">studiare prima le opere portando e identificando lo scheletro della storia e poi adattandolo alle diverse coordinate o angoli di Sirmione per riportarlo in vita con l&#8217;intenzione di evidenziare solo la narrazione solo la storia che sta dietro l&#8217;o<\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">pera e lasciare che gli oggetti e gli sfondi parlino per essa perch\u00e9 volevo rimuovere la forza e il potere che la presenza di Maria Callas ha. <\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><em><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Il mio approccio in tutti i progetti che ho fatto su Maria Callas \u00e8 davvero rimuoverla perch\u00e9 tutti<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">sanno com&#8217;era la sua vita, tutti sanno che aspetto ha, ed \u00e8 un&#8217;immagine e una presenza cos\u00ec potenti che distrae da altri aspetti della sua vita come il suo talento e le sue capacit\u00e0 di interpretazione.
