{"id":62344,"date":"2023-03-22T08:00:10","date_gmt":"2023-03-22T07:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/?p=62344"},"modified":"2023-10-05T09:01:20","modified_gmt":"2023-10-05T07:01:20","slug":"giocare-leggere-ed-esplorare-nella-nuova-area-bimbi-della-biblioteca-marzo-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/en\/giocare-leggere-ed-esplorare-nella-nuova-area-bimbi-della-biblioteca-marzo-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Play, read and explore in the new children area of the Public Library"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"editor-img alignnone wp-image-62331 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/8x2-area-bimbi-marzo-2023.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"826\" height=\"206\" srcset=\"https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/8x2-area-bimbi-marzo-2023.jpg 826w, https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/8x2-area-bimbi-marzo-2023-568x142.jpg 568w, https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/8x2-area-bimbi-marzo-2023-374x93.jpg 374w, https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/8x2-area-bimbi-marzo-2023-794x198.jpg 794w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 826px) 100vw, 826px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Fun, colourful, transparent <\/strong>and <strong>soft<\/strong>, this is how Umberto Eco imagined modern libraries, and this is how the new <strong>Children&#8217;s Area 0-6<\/strong> of the <strong>Public Library of Sirmione<\/strong> was imagined and created: a welcoming space dedicated to the little ones to stimulate their creativity and<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">their desire to explore the world around them.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"lRu31\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">New <strong>materials, educational resources, furnishings <\/strong>and <strong>games<\/strong> await children and parents in a safe, modern and lively environment.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The new Children&#8217;s Area is a place specially designed for them, where workshops and initiatives are born thanks also to the professionalism of educators and librarians.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><br \/>\nThe redesign of the area has brought new furnishings, colored chairs and tables, the &#8220;soft corner&#8221; has been expanded and improved to give children a sense of <strong>security<\/strong> and <strong>softness<\/strong> with large cushions, rugs, poufs and sofas.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The shelves have been reorganized in order to allow for a better display of the books and the general arrangement of the spaces has been redesigned to make them more functional to the needs of the children.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"lRu31\">\n<p>The new children&#8217;s area is ready to host <a href=\"https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/sirmione-book-club-kids-tutti-ci-vanno-aprile-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>the next Book Club KIDS<\/strong><\/a> which will be held on <strong>Thursday 20th April<\/strong> at <strong>17:00<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"lRu31\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The redevelopment of the library is part of the objectives set out in the <strong>IFLA-UNESCO<\/strong> Manifesto of public libraries 2022.
