Visit to the exhibition<\/strong> Departure from Sirmione<\/strong> at 9:00\u00a0<\/strong>am<\/span><\/span> Brescia Musei<\/strong> opens Miseria&Nobilt\u00e0. <\/strong>Giacomo Ceruti nell\u2019Europa del Settecento<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/span>, the great exhibition dedicated to Giacomo Ceruti, known as “Pitocchetto<\/strong>“;<\/span><\/span> the most important retrospective ever dedicated to the Lombard painter.<\/span><\/span> Painter of the latter and sought-after portraitist of the aristocracy<\/strong>, Ceruti is faced by the exhibition with what promises to be a “dutiful re-reading”, which widens the boundaries on the most “adventurous” painter of the eighteenth century.<\/span><\/span> Original interpreter of his era, capable of giving shape to the contradictions of the society of the time, close to those of our days.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n To learn more about the artistic figure of Pitocchetto, also in view of the trip, it is possible to participate on Friday 24 March at 20:45 in the Municipal Library, in the presentazione de Il silenzio della Lavandaia<\/strong><\/a> (in Italian only): the book by Paola Carmignani<\/strong> which tells the story of the great Lombard painter and the<\/span><\/span> its special bond with the city of Brescia.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
