These are the days when Sirmione<\/strong> welcomes a young woman: Maria Anna Sofia Cecilia Kalogheropoulos<\/strong>, an extraordinary voice who has already made a lot of talk about herself in the world of Italian and international opera. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The chronicles of the time speak to us above all of her life as an artist and her sentimental story. Sirmione<\/strong> remains in the background: the peninsula is a place to rest between one stage and another and spend peaceful moments.

Callas, Arie On Air<\/strong> trace back in the footsteps of Maria Callas<\/strong> in Sirmione: a way to imagine her then and to bring her back to us today thanks to the beautiful music she left us. The route consists of 10 stages in 10 suggestive and characteristic places of the peninsula: Casa del pescatore, Punta Gr\u00f2, Lido di Lugana, Lido Galeazzi, Via XXV Aprile, Veduta Sandro Pertini, Piazza Carducci, Parco Callas, San Pietro in Mavino, Piazzale Orti Manara<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

10 stages for 10 of the most beautiful arias interpreted by Maria Callas taken from historical recordings of the Divina. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At each stage, citizens and tourists will find a graphic showing the name of the romance, a short presentation text and a QR code to be framed with your smartphone to be able to listen to Maria Callas’ interpretation. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

An itinerary with a double distance: following the music it will be possible to discover suggestive, characteristic and little known places of the peninsula, and following the places, step by step, it will be possible to discover the musical world of Maria. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Callas, Arie On Air<\/strong> continues the experience proposed in 2021 with il percorso di Dante a Sirmione da Punta Gr\u00f2 a San Pietro in Mavino<\/a><\/strong>.
