The Staffetta alpina Ventimiglia-Trieste<\/strong><\/a>, which celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Alpine troops, has chosen to stop in Sirmione<\/strong> where there is a particularly active local section of Alpine troops.<\/span><\/span> On June 22, 2022, our peninsula will welcome the soldiers of the Julia Alpine Brigade who will carry the torch of peace<\/strong> to the bell of the fallen in the churchyard of San Pietro in Mavino<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The initiative is part of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the foundation of the Alpine Corps<\/strong><\/a>: a year-long path that includes a series of cultural, sports and training initiatives and will end in Naples on 15 October 2022.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
