A BIG BOOK<\/b> A story with pictures and words, like an open book, that will take place at the Palazzo Callas Exhibition<\/strong> centre. A collection of narratives, as different as they are united by the constant and powerful beauty of Sirmione and its Lake.<\/p>\n A book that displays the winning photographs from the Premio Sirmione per la Fotografia 2021<\/strong><\/a> (Sirmione Prize for Photography) in 2021 and other photographs chosen from the 2.542 shots<\/strong> submitted by the 732 participants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The photographs are displayed in an exhibition inspired by the 4 book titles that guided the photographers’ creativity during the Sirmione Photo Marathon:<\/p>\n The rule of balance <\/strong>(La regola dell\u2019equilibrio) by Gianrico Carofiglio<\/p>\n Behind the Door<\/strong> (Dietro la porta) by Giorgio Bassani<\/p>\n The Museum of the World<\/strong> (Il Museo del Mondo) by Melania Mazzucco<\/p>\n One, No One and One Hundred Thousand<\/strong> (Uno, nessuno e centomila) by Luigi Pirandello<\/p>\n The same pictures now take us on an exciting journey thanks to an unusual and captivating display that will take us through the pages of A BIG BOOK, immersing us in its story.<\/p>\n A BIG BOOK will have four empty spaces, a page yet to be written which will be completed with the winning shots of the Sirmione 10% Photo Marathon<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><\/span> Appointment on Sunday 10 April at 7 am<\/strong> in Piazza Carducci<\/strong>: participants will have 60 minutes<\/strong> to take a photo on the theme that will be revealed only at the time of the official start of the race.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em>“Words are a lens to focus one’s mind”\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Ayn Rand<\/p>\n A BIG BOOK Opening hours Book your place at “A BIG BOOK” exhibition<\/strong><\/a> Premio Sirmione per la Fotografia is sponsored by<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
