\u00abPhotography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving<\/strong>\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n Aaron Siskind<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n In autumn, Sirmione<\/strong> invites you to slow down and observe with fresh eyes. The soft light, the colors of the lake, and the town\u2019s more intimate pace provide the backdrop for numerous opportunities to gather, discuss photography<\/strong>, and take photos<\/strong>. Throughout October, exhibitions, meetings, and projects bring together photographers, journalists, and enthusiasts, transforming the Catullian peninsula into a hub for dialogue and discovery.<\/p>\n A highlight of the schedule is the Sirmione Photo Residency featuring resident photographer Alessio Cupelli<\/strong>, who will present his projects at Hotel Catullo<\/strong> in conversation with Francesca Roman<\/strong>. Also part of the Residency program is the presentation of a book by Hiro Tanaka<\/strong> and the unveiling of the 2025 edition\u2019s photography project, discussed with journalist Luca Fiore<\/strong> and Ludovica Pellegatta<\/strong> of Magnum Photos.<\/p>\n Participation in the Lake Garda Photo Challenge is open until October 31<\/strong>, while the exhibition WOUND | FERITA <\/strong>featuring images from the 2025 Sirmione Photography Award<\/strong> continues at Palazzo Callas Exhibitions<\/strong> until November 8<\/strong>.\u00a0 (The exhibition will be closed for installation on October 16, 17, and 18, 2026).<\/em><\/p>\n On October 30<\/strong>, as part of the EQUILIBRI<\/strong> series, journalist and photography critic Michele Smargiassi<\/strong> will appear at Hotel Catullo<\/strong> to give a talk titled La rappresentazione della catastrofe e l\u2019immagine come arma del terrore<\/em><\/strong>.
