The inaugural edition, scheduled for October 16–19, 2026, promises a four-day journey blending wine, culture, music, gastronomy, and landscape.

After all, tasting a Lugana wine is about more than just the wine itself. It is an opportunity to discover the land of its origin, meet the producers, understand local traditions, and traverse a landscape that—spanning the lower Lake Garda area—forges connections between diverse places, communities, and identities.

Conceived as a festival spread across multiple locations, the event will encompass Sirmione’s historic center as well as the districts of Colombare and Lugana, transforming squares, historic buildings, local venues, and wineries into hubs for gathering and discovery. Wine will serve as the common thread, guiding visitors to explore the surrounding landscape, culture, cuisine, and the people who shape the region’s identity every day.

The program features masterclasses and gatherings at the “Lugana Hub” in Palazzo Callas—including tastings and producer meet-and-greets—alongside professional sommelier-led masterclasses, winery visits, tastings at participating estates, and concerts. A shuttle service will allow attendees to travel from Sirmione to the Lugana wineries, turning the tasting experience into a genuine journey of discovery across the territory. Special events will also include a competition for local chefs, who will be challenged to interpret Lugana wine through their own culinary creations.

DISCOVER THE FESTIVAL

The Lugana Festival is the result of a collaboration between the Municipality of Sirmione and the Lugana DOC Protection Consortium, aiming to showcase and celebrate the region through one of its most authentic expressions: Lugana wine.
