In July, Sirmione welcomed host Marty Whelan<\/strong> and the crew from RT\u00c9 Lyric FM<\/strong>, the historic Irish radio station, to Lake Garda to produce a special report for “Marty in the Morning<\/strong>,” one of the station’s most popular programs, dedicated to music, culture, and local stories.<\/p>\n

The Irish editorial team’s journey led them to discover some of Sirmione’s most iconic landmarks: Villa Callas<\/strong> and the Grotte di Catullo<\/strong>. Through stories, interviews, and insights, the episode explored the profound bond between Sirmione and Maria Callas, who found inspiration and serenity here, as well as the authentic character of a community that has always been dedicated to welcoming visitors from around the world.<\/p>\n
