{"id":119735,"date":"2026-02-09T11:38:14","date_gmt":"2026-02-09T10:38:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/?p=119735"},"modified":"2026-02-09T11:39:19","modified_gmt":"2026-02-09T10:39:19","slug":"variazione-provvisoria-della-viabilita-febbraio-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/en\/variazione-provvisoria-della-viabilita-febbraio-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Temporary change in traffic flow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"editor-img alignnone wp-image-12564 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/8x2-lavori-in-corso-2020-01-826x207.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"826\" height=\"207\" srcset=\"https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/8x2-lavori-in-corso-2020-01-826x207.jpg 826w, https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/8x2-lavori-in-corso-2020-01-568x142.jpg 568w, https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/8x2-lavori-in-corso-2020-01-374x94.jpg 374w, https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/8x2-lavori-in-corso-2020-01-794x199.jpg 794w, https:\/\/visitsirmione.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/8x2-lavori-in-corso-2020-01.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 826px) 100vw, 826px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pavement maintenance work is scheduled for <strong>piazza Unit\u00e0 d&#8217;Italia<\/strong> from <strong>Monday, February 9th to Saturday, February 21st, 2026<\/strong>, resulting in temporary traffic changes in surrounding streets as well.<\/p>\n<p>The work will take place in two phases:<\/p>\n<p><strong>From February 9th to 14th<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full closure of <strong>piazza Unit\u00e0 d&#8217;Italia<\/strong> and <strong>via Todeschino<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Closure of the southbound lane of <strong>via Brescia<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>via Verona<\/strong>, traffic regulated with <strong>alternating one-way traffic on the northbound lane<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Transit prohibited for vehicles over <strong>3.5 tons<\/strong> and buses (except for local public transport)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>From February 16th to 21st<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Closure of <strong>piazza Unit\u00e0 d&#8217;Italia<\/strong> and <strong>via Todeschino<\/strong> confirmed<\/li>\n<li>Closure of the northbound lane of <strong>via Brescia<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>via Verona<\/strong>, traffic regulated with <strong>alternating one-way traffic on the southbound lane<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Transit prohibitions for vehicles over <strong>3.5 tons<\/strong> and buses (except for local public transport) remain in effect<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Main traffic diversions<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The section of <strong>piazza Unit\u00e0 d&#8217;Italia<\/strong> between <strong>via San Francesco<\/strong> and <strong>via Brescia\/via Verona<\/strong> will be diverted onto <strong>via San Francesco<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The section of <strong>piazza Unit\u00e0<\/strong> <strong>d&#8217;Italia <\/strong>near <strong>via Todeschino<\/strong>, at the intersection with <strong>via Brescia\/via Verona<\/strong>, will be diverted onto <strong>via Alfieri<\/strong><strong><strong>\/via Emilia<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Public Transport<\/h2>\n<p>From February 9th to 21st, the following stops are suspended:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Piazza Unit\u00e0 d&#8217;Italia<\/li>\n<li>Via Roma<\/li>\n<li>Piazza Campiello<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>A temporary stop has been activated on via Salvo D&#8217;Acquisto<\/strong>, in front of the Hotel Porto Azzurro, for lines to Brescia and Verona.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parking will be prohibited throughout the work period, with forced removal<\/strong> of vehicles in the affected areas.
