If foliage<\/em> is the undisputed \u201cstar\u201d of social media in autumn, Sirmione responds with a full cast of surprises ready to take the stage! Let yourself be inspired by an October in Sirmione filled with events and activities dedicated to photography. The town awaits you with exhibitions, talks, and initiatives in a widespread laboratory of images, stories, and emotions.<\/p>\n

Among the protagonists of this autumn season is the Sirmione Photo Residency<\/strong>, featuring the new resident photographer Hiro Tanaka<\/strong>, who will present and discuss his projects at Hotel Catullo. Also part of the Residency is the presentation of Mattia Marzorati\u2019s<\/strong> book, together with the photographic project of the 2024 edition: a dialogue with Marzorati himself, Michele Smargiassi<\/strong>, and Ludovica Pellegatta<\/strong> from Magnum Photos.<\/p>\n

The Sirmione Photo Marathon<\/strong> and the Lake Garda Photo Challenge<\/strong> offer two unique opportunities for photography enthusiasts and professionals to capture the beauty of Sirmione and Lake Garda.<\/p>\n

Running until November 9<\/strong> at Palazzo Callas Exhibitions<\/strong>, FIT \u2022 EVERY SIZE MATTERS<\/strong> showcases the winning shots of the Sirmione Photography Award 2024.<\/p>\n

October also brings the chance to learn in the field with the course Practical Photography<\/strong> by Roberto Bellini<\/strong>: six lessons in the classroom and outdoors to refine technique and photographic vision. The program will conclude with a photo outing in Verona<\/strong>, from the bell tower of the Cathedral to the terrace of Castel San Pietro.<\/p>\n

Finally, within the Catullo in Love<\/strong> series hosted by Hotel Catullo, distinguished names in the photography world will take the stage: Michele Smargiassi<\/strong>, who will recount La Dolce Vita<\/em> and the golden age of the Paparazzi, and photographer Edoardo Agresti<\/strong>, with a seminar shaped as a visual journey \u2014 from the charm of distant places to the faces of everyday life.<\/p>\n
