There are hotels and accommodation facilities in the town and surrounding area that welcome pets and there are many services available for our four-legged friends.<\/p>\n

In Via Coorti Romane 41 there is a Dog Park<\/strong> with separate areas for large and small dogs, and within the territory of Sirmione several beaches welcome pets, as explained below.<\/p>\n

La Tana dei Piccoli Amici<\/strong> in Via Divisione Acqui 6 provides pet grooming and washing services<\/strong> in Sirmione.<\/p>\n

The nearest shop to Sirmione that specialises in pet food and accessories<\/strong> is the Maxi Zoo in Desenzano<\/strong> del Garda, at Le Vele shopping center. Flover<\/strong>, a spacious garden centre just outside Sirmione, in Viale F. Agello 172, Desenzano del Garda, also sells a vast range of pet food and accessories.<\/p>\n

If you need a vet<\/strong> you can contact the Ambulatorio Veterinario Associato Casella<\/strong> – Iuzzolino in Via Verona 106 in Sirmione and the company Dream Dog Sirmione<\/strong> provides a dog centre with dog sitting services.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dog-friendly beaches in Sirmione<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Some of Sirmione’s beaches allow dogs<\/strong>, so they can spend the day on the shoreline with their owners and enjoy swimming in the lake<\/strong>: these include the Spiaggia delle Muse<\/a> near the Scaligero Castle, Punta Gr\u00f2<\/a> in Lugana and Brema beach<\/a> in Colombare.
\nDogs are also allowed on Lugana beach<\/a>, but not in the water.<\/p>\n

Legally in Italy you can take your dog with you to the beach, but with a leash and muzzle<\/strong>, any excrement must be collected and you should keep your pet with you at all times under your beach umbrella.<\/p>\n

Dog beaches around Lake Garda<\/strong><\/h2>\n

There are several beaches for dogs around Lake Garda<\/strong>, including other places and locations, that allow our four-legged friends to enjoy some fresh air or a few hours of relaxation with their owners.
\nAround Sirmione there is the Braccobaldo Bau Beach in Peschiera del Garda<\/strong>, the Fido Beach in Manerba del Garda<\/strong> in the Rio d’Avigo area, the reserved beach in Sal\u00f2<\/strong> after Mulino Beach and the Mokai Beach in Via Tavine, and the Bau Beach in Toscolano Maderno<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
